I truly mean what I said above — about mental skills being more important than anything else.

In fact, every year I have a special conversation with my new Team NEHI kids, telling them stories about the great players who came before them.

In every case, there was something special in the way the great ones approached their game.  And, while most observers probably marveled at their daredevil type skills during competition, I knew those skills came from their relaxed attitude towards practicing, which ultimately translated to a very relaxed way of playing.
